Atlanta, GA
Located in the heart of Atlanta, GA, our team at Kerolus Facial Plastic Surgery believes beauty should be effortless, and so should your journey there. That is why we're proud to now offer FaceTite. This treatment uses radiofrequency-assisted lipo-coagulation (RFAL) to contour, tighten, and rejuvenate your face without the need for invasive surgery. Led by Dr. Kerolus, our practice is dedicated to blending the best of artistry and advanced science to help you look and feel like the most radiant version of yourself.
What is FaceTite?
FaceTite is a minimally invasive procedure that's designed to tighten loose skin, melt stubborn fat, and restore youthful contours—all in one appointment. Using radiofrequency (RF) energy just beneath the surface of the skin, FaceTite carefully liquefies fat cells while stimulating collagen and elastin production. This dual-action process is what makes RFAL so unique and effective, with results that last.
By harnessing the power of RFAL, FaceTite offers dramatic, natural-looking results with significantly less downtime compared to traditional surgery. Think facelift-level results without the stitches and extended recovery.
FaceTite Benefits
Life changes, weight fluctuates, and gravity does its thing - but that doesn't mean your facial profile has to follow suit. Whether it's post-weight loss sagging or early signs of aging, FaceTite was created for people like you to help restore confidence in your skin again.
FaceTite primarily focuses on the jawline, jowls, chin, neck, and general lower face. Here's what FaceTite can do for you.
FaceTite Candidates
If you have mild skin laxity or excess fat, you may be an excellent candidate for FaceTite. People of all ages are candidates. However, most patients are in their 30s to their 50s. Candidates must first schedule a consultation with Dr. Kerolus to assess whether they are suitable for FaceTite or whether other treatments would be more effective in achieving their desired results. Patients considering this treatment frequently express concerns with early signs of aging, loose skin, or mild wrinkles and desire more jawline definition.
You should contact your doctor before considering this treatment, or avoid getting FaceTite done if you experience any of the following.
Consultation and Preparation
It all begins with a warm welcome and a personalized consultation with Dr. Kerolus. We'll take the time to listen to your goals, examine your facial structure, and determine whether FaceTite is your perfect match.
We will take before photos, review your medical history, and walk you through what to expect. If you're a good candidate, we'll create a tailored treatment plan just for you. Before your treatment, make sure to follow all recommended advice from our providers, including:
Your FaceTite Treatment
On the day of your procedure, we'll ensure you're completely comfortable. A local anesthetic is applied to the treatment area - no need for general anesthesia.
A tiny incision (about the size of a freckle) is made to insert a slim RFAL cannula just beneath the skin. As it moves gently through the tissue, radiofrequency (RF) energy is released to melt fat and stimulate collagen in real time. The procedure usually takes between 45 minutes to two hours, depending on the areas treated.
Results, Recovery, and Aftercare
You'll see a noticeable improvement almost immediately, with continued results developing over the next three to six months as collagen rebuilds and skin tightens.
You may experience some light swelling or bruising during the first three to five days post-treatment. Sometimes, a compression garment is recommended during these first few days as well. Make sure to keep the incision points clean and dry using your provider's advice. Avoid heavy lifting, intense workouts, and sun exposure for at least a week.
While results can last three to five years, staying hydrated, using SPF, and maintaining a stable weight will help prolong your glow.
Our practice offers a serene boutique experience that prioritizes safety, comfort, and luxury above all else. We strive to ensure that every person who leaves our office feels empowered, refreshed, and never overdone.
Dr. Julia Kerolus is known for more than just her precision and artistry in the cosmetic world; her warm, compassionate care is also noted by every patient of hers. Whether it's your first or fifth aesthetic treatment, you'll be in exceptional hands with her and the rest of our highly skilled team.
