What is
Restylane Eyelight?

Restylane Eyelight is an advanced hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal filler treatment that is specifically formulated to address dark circles and hollowing. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance found in the body that helps maintain hydration and volume. By injecting Restylane Eyelight into the undereye area, this formula effectively hydrates the skin providing an alert, awake, more youthful appearance.

What can Restylane Eyelight do for me?

By addressing common concerns in the undereye area, this treatment can help you achieve a more refreshed, youthful, and vibrant look.

Restylane Eyelight effectively reduces the appearance of undereye bags, dark circles, and hollowing, restoring a smoother and more youthful contour. Patients can enjoy:

  • Improved appearance in the undereye area
  • Natural looking results
  • Less time spent applying makeup
  • Minimally invasive, non-surgical
  • Long-lasting enhancement

Am I a candidate for Restylane Eyelight?

Our Atlanta Restylane Eyelight patients are typically looking to treat a variety of undereye aesthetic concerns that make them look tired or sad.

This is an ideal treatment for those looking for something less invasive than eye surgery, like blepharoplasty, who have mild to moderate signs of laxity or volume loss. While there is very low risk of complications with HA fillers, it’s important to discuss any concerns with your physician.

Consultation and Preparation

At your consultation, our team will get to know you and your aesthetic goals and perform a brief examination to determine if Restylane Eyelight is an ideal treatment for your concerns. If there are any additional cosmetic concerns, we can also discuss other treatments and consider incorporating them into a comprehensive treatment plan. If you are a good candidate, we can typically perform the treatment on the same day. To prepare for this treatment, we will advise you to avoid blood thinning medications, including over-the-counter, for about one week prior and limit alcohol for about 24 hours.

Procedure

First, the undereye area is cleansed to remove any makeup or oils, and then a topical numbing cream may be applied to minimize discomfort during the treatment. Using a fine needle or cannula, your provider will carefully inject the filler into targeted areas of the undereye region. In general, the procedure typically takes around 20 minutes to complete.

Results, Recovery, and Aftercare

Following treatment with Restylane Eyelight Atlanta patients typically do not require any downtime. Mild bruising and swelling may occur in the first few days after treatment. Patients can typically go about their day-to-day activities right away. We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise or sleeping on your face for about 24 hours as the serum settles into place. Most patients see great results for about 12 to 18 months.

Restylane Eyelight Frequently Asked Questions

Most patients do not experience pain with Restylane Eyelight, as it contains lidocaine. We also use a topical numbing cream in the area prior to treatment.

Minor risks could include swelling or bruising near the injection site. There is a slight chance of headache as a temporary side effect.

In most cases, this is a long-lasting treatment, and many patients see results that last as long as 18 months.

While there is a very small possibility that any HA filler could migrate, even though this is injected into the eye area, the filler would not affect the eyes or vision in any way. In any case, if migration occurred, it would be downward motion.

The cost of Restylane Eyelight varies depending on how many vials are needed to address each patient’s specific concerns.
